Short Sands
I like mysterious. One weekend we arrived in York to find fog so thick the grand kids almost disappeared. Too chilly for swimming I settled for this indistinct and moody shot.
Weston Mill
Autumn in Vermont attracts crowds of leaf peepers. Photographing fall foliage is difficult. Leaves never reproduce quite the way they looked in the moment. Sometimes it is possible to say autumn in an understated way.
Marshall Point
I like landscapes that are a little mysterious the best. This image of Marshall Point Light was taken just as the morning fog was clearing. It became a keeper when a small boat suddenly appeared in the distance. Sometimes the best photos also have an element of chance that no amount of composition can generate.
Roque Bluffs
I like to travel. I love the ocean and finding light houses. Sometimes I take pictures. Other times I just sit there and enjoy. Now and then I fly a kite.
